My Experience:
Shade: 480, Red Said Black. It's a coffee brown with heavy reddish-blue undertones. It looks like the darkest shade available in the collection in my opinion.Perfect for the winter season. I lover dark shades and that's why I chose this particular shade!It will suit all the skin tones well.Especially medium-complexioned Indian skin tones.

The lipsticks in the Ultimate Colour collection come in a black coloured plastic tube.Details like shade number,name,quantity and shelf-life are mentioned on the tube-packaging.The bottom of the lipstick has a colour-coded sticker that matches the lipstick's shade the tube holds.It comes in very handy if we have more than one lipstick from this collection.The packaging is sleek,sturdy and travel-friendly.

Formula & Texture:

• This lipstick has got a creamy-finish
• Very pigmented.One single swipe is enough to cover-up any lip-pigmentation
• Satin-finish of the lipstick makes the lips look luscious
• Very comfortable on the lips and doesn't bleed.
• Doesn't settle into the fine-lip lines.Keeps lips moisturized for a really long time
• Sets quickly on the lips and after few hours looks kind of matte on the lips.Yes,the sheen goes away as the time passes
• Survives light snacks.After a heavy meal,we need to re-apply the lipstick Stains the lips as it's a very dark shade.
• Re-application is easy and layering up the product doesn't look patchy.
• Doesn't flake or feather unless you have chapped lips
• Not transfer-proof. Transfers a lot.
• Not smudge-proof

Longevity:
Lasts for about five hours (max).This lipstick can be removed easily using a makeup-wipe or a remover.Long lasting lipstick...I must say.

Con:
Transfers a lot!

Overall,I love this lipstick and you must try at least one shade out of the fifteen shades available.The lipsticks in the Ultimate colour collection are very pigmented and long-lasting at the same time.There are awesome shades available...from nudes to bold reds they have it all.Cool collection!

Will I re-purchase?
Yes. Also, this shade is an addition to my existing Catrice Ultimate Color lipstick collection. Would love to try out other shades from this range.Love the formula to bits!

Tips: Lining out lips before applying the lipstick is a good idea.Also,don't forget to prep-up the lips by exfoliating and applying a generous amount of lip balm.Then,wipe off the lip balm exactly before applying the lipstick

Review : Rimmel's Moisture Renew Lipsticks Shades : 360 &180

Today, I am going to share my thoughts on Rimmel's Moisture Renew Lipstick Collection.
Rimmel is one of my favorite makeup brands.They have everything from kohls to lip-liners to foundations to lipsticks and so on.Their products are of really good quality.I trust Rimmel. The Moisture Renew lipsticks looked very appealing because of their packaging and hence I went ahead and checked these out at the counter.Let's find out together if these lipsticks worth purchasing!!!

Product-Information:

• Moisturizes lips without compromising on colour!
• Vitamin A,C,E enriched formula that drenches lips in intense colour and moisture.
• SPF 20 keeps the lips protected!(According to www.nykaa.com,not mentioned on the official website of Rimmel London though)
• Ultra lightweight, comfortable to wear all day.
• A burst of brilliance in a rainbow of shades.
• Dermatologically tested.

There are eighteen shades available in the moisture renew lipstick collection and I picked two of them namely 360,As You Want Victoria and 180,Vintage Pink.

My Experience:

Shades:

• 360,As You Want Victoria : It's a heavily-blue toned pink shade.This shade will suit all the skin tones.It's a bold and beautiful shade.Can be worn at any occasion.I have been using this shade non-stop.It's really a very nice shade.

• 180,Vintage Pink : It's a flat out mauvy-pink shade.It's a neutral shade.Will suit all the skin tones.Can be worn on an everyday basis.I love this shade.

The lipaticks in the Moisture Renew collection come in tube that has silver base and a purple-blue coloured cap/lid.The packaging looks really nice. Rimmel's logo is embossed at the top-head of the lid.The details like shade number,name,quantity are mentioned on the tube itself.Packaging is sturdy and travel-friendly.I like it.
                                            

Formula & Texture:

• Texture of these lipsticks is very buttery-soft and smooth,experienced no tugging or pulling...simply wow!
• Pigmentation-The product is very pigmented.One single swipe is enough to cover any pigmentation on the lips.
• Satin/glossy finish
• Full colour pay-off in one single swipe
• Very comfortable on the lips
• Light-weight lipsticks
• Keeps the lips moisturized
• Not transfer-proof
• Not smudge proof
• Leaves a stain behind on the lips,especially the darker shades like 360, As You Want Victoria.

Fragrance:

The lipsticks in the moisture renew collection have a strong sweet-fruity fragrance that lingers after the product- application.It fades away as the time passes.But,yes it's very strong.I am fine with it as it just goes away after some time ,so it's not really a problem.

Effective/Worth?

Yes.Definitely.

• The lipsticks in the Moisture Renew range are very pigmented and comfortable on the lips
• The longevity of these lipsticks is upto five hours after which the lipstick leaves a stain behind.We don't really need to re-apply the lipstick because the stain looks nice in my opinion.
• Vitamin A,C,E are really nice for lips.Skin benefits from these vitamins and stays healthy.Great that these lipsticks have Vitamin A,C,E
• These lipsticks have SPF 20.How cool is that!It's really nice to wear these lipsticks during the summer season.For that matter anytime.It's a big plus point of these lipsticks
• Re-application of the lipsticks in this collection is very easy, one swipe and we are good to go.It doesn't look patchy as such
• It has a tendency to bleed though.Using a lip-liner will definitely help.
• As the lipsticks in this range are very glossy we got to be careful.A hair-strand or anything that will touch the lipstick on the lips,lipstick will get smeared easily
• Transfers to the cutlery easily.But,we can always mattify any lipstick that has a satin/glossy finish by using a translucent powder.
• These lipsticks don't really flake off at all.But,might cling to the dry patches on the lips.Better to exfoliate your lips prior to applying the lipstick
• Doesn't sit into the fine lip-lines...yay
• Makes the lips look plumped-up and luscious!

Longevity:

• Stays on the lips for about four hours max. i.e. with heavy meals in between.With light meals in between it stays up to five hours on me.
• Please note that the lighter-shades like Vintage Pink stayed on the lips for about three hours(max).
• The lipstick fades away evenly as the time passes leaving a nice stain behind.In case we eat anything oily/greasy,it goes away from the center of the lips immediately.

Cons:

• The strong sweet fragrance of the lipstick might bother some people.I suggest checking out the lipstick's fragrance if you have a very sensitive nose. :)
• Transfers to the cutlery etc easily

Will I re-purchase?

Yes

Overall,I am a big fan of Rimmel products in general and these lipsticks are definitely worth a try.I like the packaging and formula of these lipsticks.I am really loving the shades that I have purchased.The pigmentation is seriously to die for and the shade-range is awesome too.There are neutral shades and bold reds and pinks in this collection.I recommend checking out the Moisture Renew lipstick collection.

All the shades mentioned above will suit all the skin tones well.Especially medium-complexioned Indian skin tones.

Review : Clinique Pop Liquid™ Matte Lip Colour + Primer(Shades : Black Licorice pop & Candied Apple Pop)

Today I am going to share with you my thoughts on the Clinique's Pop Liquid Matte Lip Colour + Primer lipsticks.

There are eight shades available and I picked two of them namely Black Licorice pop & Candied Apple Pop.

This ingredient is an emollient and is often added to products such as mascara, lip gloss, and eyeliner to keep them soft, with the ability to spread easily on skin. Isododecane is used in many different cosmetic items because of its low instance of side effects and because it cannot be absorbed by the skin, and therefore lacks the ability to elicit significant irritation.

My Experience:

Shades:

• 08,Black Licorice Pop: Purplish-pink or berry pink with heavy purple undertones.I love how nice it looks on the lips.It's not for everyone.If you do not like vampy or dark shades then I suggest skipping this shade.But,if you are someone who loves luscious deep-berry shades on the lips then  you will like it to the bits just like me! This shade will suit medium to dark complexions very well.
• 03,Candied Apple Pop: It's truly a blue-toned red shade.It's awesome and will suit all the skin tones.Perfect for parties and functions.I like wearing red lipsticks anytime though!

Packaging:
The packaging is cool in my opinion.The outer packaging is so refreshing.It's a white cardboard that has green leaves or grass-like strips all over it.I love it.
The shade name.number,quantity,shelf-life,ingredients are mentioned on the outer packaging of the product.Also,on the head of the outer-packaging the shade number and name are mentioned.It comes in very handy in case you have more than one lipstick from the Pop Liquid Matte Lipstick collection.
Coming to the actual product,it comes in a frosted,transparent arcylic tube and has a silver,reflective twist open lid.The packaging looks classy and will look nice sitting in the vanity.
The shade name and number are mentioned at the bottom of the lipsticks.We can easily check out the shades in case we have more than one shade with us.Sturdy & travel-friendly packaging...I must say.The applicator is flat-foot,kind of oval-shaped sponge applicator.It is of apt size and gives full control while lining-out the lips closely.

Formula & Texture:

• Creamy consistency
• Soft and smooth texture
• Velvet-matte finish.Not complete powdery-matte finish.Semi(velvet)-matte finish makes the lips look full and luscious(like a matte - lip gloss)
• Very pigmented.In one single swipe we get full colour payoff
• Lips look silky smooth all thanks to the key ingredient-sunflower wax!
• Very comfortable on the lips
• Glides on the lips like a dream...seriously...love it
• Keeps lips really moisturized
• Doesn't bleed,flake or feather
• Doesn't sit into the fine-lip-lines
• Doesn't crack-up or crumble at any point in time.If you keep pressing your lips then also the product doesn't move here and there and stays put.Yay :)
• Not smudge-proof
• Not transfer-proof
• Re-application of the product is very easy and still the product glides on very well on the lips
• Quantity is more than any normal liquid lipstick that we get.Like usually we get about 3-8mls.Clinique is offering 6ml of the product so,it's cool.

Fragrance:
Fragrance-free.It's cool that the lipsticks in the Pop Matte Liquid lipstick range do not have any fragrance at all.

Longevity:
The lipsticks in this collection have an average staying power of about four to five hours(max).
As these lipsticks have a velvet-matte finish these don't really survive heavy meals.The lipstick goes away from the center of the mouth and you will definitely need to do a touch-up.
In case you don't eat oily or greasy food then the lipstick will stay on the lips for about 5-6 hours(depends) and then fade away evenly leaving a stain behind on the lips and you actually don't need to do a touch-up as such.

Con:

• Transfers to anything and everything.But,we can always mattify these lipsticks and let the stain sit on the lips
• Need to apply the lipstick post heavy meals.If you don't like touch-ups then skip buying this product
• Some people might find the price to be steep.I am ok with the price point it though.

Will I re-purchase?
Yes

Overall,I would say that the lipsticks in the Pop liquid matte lipsticks are very comfortable lipsticks with a velvet-matte finish.These lipsticks stay for about four hours.There are eight vibrant shades in this collection.I am loving the shades that I have picked!I have no issues re-applying the lipsticks after a meal so,these lipsticks are definitely a hit for me.I highly recommend that you check once the shades and I am sure you will like the shade range , the formula and the comfortability that these lipsticks provide.

How to apply:

• Before to apply the lipstick it is a good habit to prepare your lips: in fact, if they are smooth it will be more easy to apply the lipstick with long lasting results! Once a week it is useful to do a soft-exfoliative massage with a specific peeling.

• Apply a lip pencil to define the outline and blend it with a small brush, this will ensure a perfect make-up base.

• For a perfect application: on the lower lip apply from the corners towards the center, on the superior lip apply from the center towards the outside.

My Experience:

Shades:

• Risque : Bright fuschia pink.Pink with purple undertones will suit all the skin tones

• Venus: Reddish-orange that is a really bright but,wearable shade.Bold lipstick shade.I love it.

• The lipsticks in the Classic lipstick collection have a very different packaging than any other lipstick.The outer-body looks like silver steel
• The lipsticks lid id of silver colour too
• The shade name,number,shelf-life are mentioned on the lipstick-tube
• There is a colour coded stick at the bottom of the tube that matches the lipstick-shade
• Also,shade number is mentioned on the colour-coded stick
• This comes in very handy while checking out the shades if we have more than one lipstick from this collection

Formula & Texture of both the lipsticks:

• Both the lipsticks are very similar texture-wise.I like the formula.
• These lipsticks are creamy and very pigmented
• Velvety or satin-finish lipsticks
• Very opaque.In one single swipe we get full colour-payoff
• lips look full and luscious
• light-weight formula
• long-lasting
• very comfortable
• No dryness was experienced
• Didn't flake or feather but might bleed
• Very surprisingly these lipsticks did not sit-into the fine-lip lines
• Also,these lipsticks did not enhance and patches on the lips
• Stains the lips
• Not transferproof
• Not smudge-proof
• Paraben-free
• Luminous Lipstick range : lipsticks in this range have vitamine A,E,F which are very helpful in keeping lips healthy.With argan oil, rich of linoleic acid, helps in nourishing the lips

Fragrance:

Strong fruity-chemical fragrance that fades away a little as the time passes

Longevity:

These lipsticks last throughout the day and survive light & heavy meals.Stay for about 5-6 hours(max) on the lips.

Cons:

• Both the lipsticks have a strong fruity-chemical smell that might bother people with sensitive nose
• Layering up the lipstick makes it look streaky/patchy,try to avoid layering
• Transfers to cutlery etc.

Will I re-purchase?

Yes,because the lipsticks in both the ranges are very pigmented and long lasting.Also,there is a huge variety of shades to choose from.I love the shades available in both the collections.

I don't find the fragrance over-whelming and it's fine with me.Also, I love the pigmentation of these lipsticks.Will purchase other shades from these ranges.I highly recommend these lipsticks if you are looking for lipsticks that are affordable,paraben-free and rich in vitamins.
