My Experience:
Shade: 480, Red Said Black. It's a coffee brown with heavy reddish-blue undertones. It looks like the darkest shade available in the collection in my opinion.Perfect for the winter season. I lover dark shades and that's why I chose this particular shade!It will suit all the skin tones well.Especially medium-complexioned Indian skin tones.

Packaging:

The lipsticks in the Ultimate Colour collection come in a black coloured plastic tube.Details like shade number,name,quantity and shelf-life are mentioned on the tube-packaging.The bottom of the lipstick has a colour-coded sticker that matches the lipstick's shade the tube holds.It comes in very handy if we have more than one lipstick from this collection.The packaging is sleek,sturdy and travel-friendly.

Formula & Texture:

• This lipstick has got a creamy-finish
• Very pigmented.One single swipe is enough to cover-up any lip-pigmentation
• Satin-finish of the lipstick makes the lips look luscious
• Very comfortable on the lips and doesn't bleed.
• Doesn't settle into the fine-lip lines.Keeps lips moisturized for a really long time
• Sets quickly on the lips and after few hours looks kind of matte on the lips.Yes,the sheen goes away as the time passes
• Survives light snacks.After a heavy meal,we need to re-apply the lipstick Stains the lips as it's a very dark shade.
• Re-application is easy and layering up the product doesn't look patchy.
• Doesn't flake or feather unless you have chapped lips
• Not transfer-proof. Transfers a lot.
• Not smudge-proof

Longevity:
Lasts for about five hours (max).This lipstick can be removed easily using a makeup-wipe or a remover.Long lasting lipstick...I must say.

Con:
Transfers a lot!

Overall,I love this lipstick and you must try at least one shade out of the fifteen shades available.The lipsticks in the Ultimate colour collection are very pigmented and long-lasting at the same time.There are awesome shades available...from nudes to bold reds they have it all.Cool collection!

Will I re-purchase?
Yes. Also, this shade is an addition to my existing Catrice Ultimate Color lipstick collection. Would love to try out other shades from this range.Love the formula to bits!

Tips: Lining out lips before applying the lipstick is a good idea.Also,don't forget to prep-up the lips by exfoliating and applying a generous amount of lip balm.Then,wipe off the lip balm exactly before applying the lipstick

I am back with another haul today.I am gonna share my drugstore makup haul.So, there is store in UAE called V-Perfumes.They have got a huge variety of branded perfumes.Plus they have got few makeup counters too.I love shopping makeup from this store as they always keep newly launched products in their store.Yay!

My Experience:

Packaging:

Wow! The packaging is really cool.The product comes in a cream-coloured plastic tube packaging.There is a flip open plastic cap(green coloured) attached to the tube.We need to squeeze the tube to take out the product.Very hygienic packaging.All the details like quantity,shelf-life , ingredients etc are mentioned on the tube.The packaging is very sturdy and travel-friendly.But, the tube contains a lot of product due to which you might feel that it is a little heavy to carry along while travelling(in handbag etc). I am ok with the size and weight of the tube.Overall , I am impressed with the packaging.

Formula & Texture:

The aloe vera gel has got no colour as such.It's a clear gel.It has jelly-like texture.Thin-consistency but, not runny.Very light-weight formula.After applying the gel on the skin , it gives a soothing effect and the skin feels rejuvenated! It doesn't leave any sort of white cast on the skin.

Safety prescription: No paraben, benzophenone, animal oil,mineral oil,artificial coloring. Simply amazing.

Yes, the aloe vera gel has got a very natural and refreshing leaf-like(referring to actual aloe-leaf) fragrance that fades away as the time passes.Nothing to worry.Take my word!

Effective?

Yes,totally worth the money.

• The product comes in a gel-form and is non-sticky or greasy.
• The consistency of the product is kind of thin and light weight
• Also the aloe vera gel gets absorbed into the skin in a jiffy. Is'nt that cool?
• Easy to apply on the go.Squeeze out apply ,sit back relax.
• It's a versatile product in my opinion.It can be used as a moisturizer or as a face pack or after sun exposure (sun care) etc.
• Keeps the skin moisturized.Skin feels soft and supple.In short,  it takes care of rough skin nicely.
• It really helps in calming down the skin -irritation / sunburn effect.Hats off!
• Budget-friendly product.So affordable.
• It's suitable for all skin types...seriously true...tried and tested.
• Used on a daily basis,one tube lasted for about a month.

Benefits of using aloe vera gel:

• Apply on your skin.In the long run,it will help in restoring the moisture and will keep the skin healthy
• Use as a hair-mask.It makes the hair stronger and healthier.Also,it nourishes the roots.
• Apply as a sleeping mask and leave it overnight.Get baby soft skin the very next day.
• Apply as a hand moisturizer to keep your hands/feet in good condition...list goes on and on.

My Experience :

Packaging:
The product comes in a white coloured plastic-tub.The green coloured lid needs to be pulled up in order to take out the product from the tub.There is a foil cover that comes as a protecting shield between the lid and the tub.Once we throw out the foil,it becomes very important to keep the product covered so as to avoid exposure to environmental stresses. All the details like quantity,shelf-life,ingredients are mentioned on the packaging itself. The packaging is very sturdy and the lid sits perfectly on the tub.Travel-friendly and compact packaging.Easy to carry along anytime anywhere.

Formula & Texture:
The colourless petroleum jelly has got a thick texture.It is easy to rub on the skin.It gets absorbed miraculously into the skin.Doesn't leave any white cast.Non-greasy by nature.

Fragrance:
The product smells aloe-like(mildly) ,unlike any other petroleum jelly that I have used so far.It's very different and not that pleasant.The fragrance fades away as the time passes.

Effective?
Yes.It works.

• The petroleum jelly has a thick texture and gets absorbed into the skin nicely.
• Non-greasy or sticky
• Aloe Leaf extracts have been used in this product.That's really cool as aloe helps in fighting skin problems like skin irritations,blemishes,sunburns,dryness etc.
• The effect stays for about 7-8 hours altogether after which you might need to apply the product again.
• This is a versatile product.Can be applied on dry skin,dry nail-cuticles,lips,elbow,knees, feet etc
• It calms the skin irritation/dryness
• It soothes the skin and the skin feels soft and supple
• If used regularly,this product can make skin more healthy...definitely
• Suitable for all skin types
• Apply this product before going to bed to get best results.

Con:
Tub packaging.Need to use either clean fingers to scoop out the product.Better to use a clean spatula for taking out the product.

Will I re-purchase?
Yes.It's a cool product and works fine.I recommend it to people who are looking for a nice product that can help their skin(body) related issues like dry nail-cuticles,dry elbows,knees ,feet etc.This product is made of natural ingredients like aloe vera leaf extracts...that's the USP of this product.

Today, I am going to share my thoughts on the Dr. Neem skincare / body care products.Recently,I purchased two products : the Shower Gel(Aloe Vera & Yoghurt) and Petroleum Jelly (with aloe vera).This amazing brand has got skincare products i.e.body care,face care...also, oral care etc.These products were launched in GCC few months back and I wanted to try their personal care product-s.So,let's find out more about this brand and their interesting products!

The Dr. Neem's shower gel comes in a white-plastic cylindrical bottle that has a vibrant green coloured cap.It's a flip open lid.The nozzle is of appropriate size i.e. once we squeeze out the product enough amount of the product comes out at a time.Also, the bottle-packaging looks very attractive and is very hygienic in nature.Plus all the details like product-quantity, shelf-life , ingredients etc are mentioned on the packaging.Very sturdy, compact and travel-friendly packaging indeed!

The shower gel has got no colour.It's a clear gel with a hue of green colour.The texture is thin and the consistency is runny.Very lightweight formula.As soon as the product comes in contact with the water it lathers up very quickly.Very easy to work with.Non-sticky or greasy.

Fragrance:
Yes,the shower gel has got a pleasant fragrance.It smells like aloe mixed with a hint of yogurt.If you have smelled fresh aloe-leaves ever,you will understand what I am saying.Also, the smell doesn't last for long on the skin.It fades away from the skin after some time(let's say after ten minutes post shower,ehich I am ok with ).Not overpowering.People with sensitive nose can relax.

Effective?
Yes.

• This shower gel is non-sticky and it is very lightweight
• Retains skin-moisture(post bathing-session).
• Doesn't cause any skin irritations, rashes,break-outs.
• Didn't dry out the skin at all.
• Skin feels refreshed and breathable.Leaves skin feeling soft.
• Main ingredients: Aloe & Yogurt. Aloe is a very important ingredient.It has various benefits.Aloe keeps the skin healthy in the long run.It helps in calming and soothing any sort of skin irritation etc. On the other hand yogurt is a very nice element in skincare.It helps in reducing fine lines and wrinkles. The lactic acid in yogurt helps dissolve dead skin and tighten pores. 
• This shower gel is suitable for all skin types and didn't rip of the essential oils from the skin.May be because Glycerin is also present in this shower gel.
• Ideally one to two pumps of the product should be sufficient (during bath).

Con:
Nothing

Will I re-purchase?
Would like to try some other variant of the shower gel from Dr. Neem.

Review : Mario Badescu Facial Spray With Aloe, Herbs & Rosewater

Hope you are doing well.

Today, I am going to share my thoughts on Mario Badescu's aloe ,herbs & rosewater facial spray.This product has been so raved about by many beauty-influencers.I went ahead and purchased it as I ran out of the rose-water spray that I was using.Let's find out together if this product is worth the HYPE. :)

My Experience:

My skin-type : Normal to oily

Packaging:

The product comes in a white coloured(transparent) plastic-bottle.It has a product-dispensing nozzle attached.So hygienic.Once pressed,the nozzle dispenses appropriate(enough) amount of product at a time.We need to spray 2-3 times(as per your liking) to cover an entire face.All the details like product quantity, ingredients,shelf-life,how to use etc are present on the packaging. The packaging is very compact and travel-friendly. Yay! There are different sizes available which is really cool.I love love love the packaging!

                               

Formula & Texture:
The orange-coloured face mist has a very fine texture and it spreads evenly on the skin.Not runny...unless we spray more than the required amount.Love the formula it's really soothing and keeps skin moisturized.

                           

Fragrance:
The product has very nice fragrance.It smells just like a mixture of fresh roses and aloe.Pleasant... smells great!It is not strong and after few minutes the smell fades away.Nothing bothersome.If you have sensitive nose...relax...you will hopefully enjoy this product.

Effective?
Yes,totally effective.

• Firstly,the product spreads evenly and gets absorbed into the skin(face/neck) within two minutes or so.
• When the product sets,it clearly gives out a very glowy skin-effect(dewy) which looks amazing.
• The product feels very-light on the skin.
• It never made the skin look overly greasy or oily...just gave the right amount of the suttle glow.
• Love using it as a moisturizer.Works fine.
• Can be used as a toner and it keeps skin clean...love it.
• Love the ingredients: rosewater and aloe.Really great for skin.Also,this product is paraban-free and the brand is totally cruelty-free how cool is that!!!❤
• Did not break the skin out
• Experienced no allergic reactions
• It's very easy to apply...anytime.Leaves the skin feeling fresh.It can be sprayed easily on the go.It rejuvenates the skin...seriously!
• I won't suggest using this product as a makeup setting spray (as claimed by the brand), because this feels kinda sticky and might spoil your makeup(in my opinion).
• One bottle would last for about two months (max) if used regularly.

Con:
If you spray the product and touch your skin in let's say a minute you will feel the stickiness/greasiness...it takes time to get absorbed into the skin.So, give it some time to get totally absorbed into your skin.

Overall, I would like to say that the Mario Badescu's facial spray is simply amazing and works well. Every time I spray this product on my skin, I feel great and delighted.
It literally awakens and uplifts my mood as it smells great. Highly recommend it.

Review : Neutrogena Ultra-sheer Dry Touch Sunscreen

Skincare is a very important aspect of our lives.Today, I am going to share my thoughts on the Neutrogena's Ultra Sheer Dry Touch sunscreen(Broad Spectrum SPF 55).

What is a sunscreen?
A sunscreen is a skin-care product that helps in keeping all the harmful sun-rays at bay.These rays can severely damage the skin & can cause sunburns,skin-diseases like skin-cancer etc.

UVA Meaning:
UVA stands for Ultra Violet A. These rays penetrate deeper through the epidermis into the lower layers of skin known as the dermis.UVA rays accelerate skin-aging!

UVB Meaning:
UVB stands for Ultra Violet B. These rays penetrate the upper layers of the skin known as the epidermis and cause the skin to burn.

Why do we need sunscreen?
UVB rays are not are strong as UVA rays, but, they are the main cause of sunburns and skin cancers and thus are just as damaging.To properly protect yourself against the sun's harmful rays, you must wear sunscreen or sunblock that contains SPF.

Sunscreens are available in many forms including:

• Gel sunscreen

My Experience:

My skin type : Normal to oily

Packaging:
The product comes in a twist-open tube-packaging. It's made up of plastic.The light-sky blue coloured cap looks fabulous.We need to squeeze the tube in order to take out the product.
The light-blue-white coloured tube has all the details such as product -quantity,ingredients,manufacturer's information listed on it.
 The tube doesn't feel heavy or bulky.The packaging is very sturdy and travel-friendly.There are different sizes available in the market which is a big yay! I really like the packaging.

Formula & Texture:

• The sunscreen comes in a plastic tube.The white coloured product has a very creamy texture
• Thin consistency , but, not runny as such
• Very lightweight
• Quickly gets absorbed into the skin
• Doesn't cling to the dry patches of the skin
• Doesn't crack-up onto the skin or leave skin feeling breathless

Fragrance:
Smells chemically.Not really pleasant. Not overwhelming though and the fragrance fades away as the time passes.So, nothing to worry!

Effective?
Yes, very effective.

• Once we apply this cream onto the skin(face),it gives out a matte-look.
• Throughout the day,I never felt like my skin is drying out or looking patchy.
• This product doesn't leave any sort of white cast on the skin(face)...yay!!! :)
• Very lightweight cream.It makes the skin feel comfortable!
• Kinda sweat-proof. Skin stays moisturized  throughout the day...must say...I am impressed!
• Oil free sunscreen.Yes you heard it right!  It did not break me out.So true to it's claim of being non-comedogenic!
• The main aspect of this product is to protect the skin from harmful sunrays etc.In my opinion,this product works and keeps those skin-damaging elements(Broad spectrum UVA , UVB rays) at bay.
• Really helpful in keeping the skin sun-tan-free (upto 70-80% ).Tried & tested.So cool!
• PABA free.PABA stands for para-aminobenzoic acid.This amino acid can cause severe skin-allergies.
• Product-re-application is very easy and not messy.👍
• Acts as a nice makeup-base primer

Cons:

• It's not really water resistant.For e.g. in case you get into the pool, it starts coming off very easily.
• On an extremely sunny day(or humid weather), we need to apply the product very frequently,like every two-three hours(e.g. field-work /outdoor-shoot scenarios )
• For the quantity being offered, some people might find this sunscreen to be pricey 
• If used daily,one tube would last only for 1.5 months (max)

Overall,I would like to say that I have been using this product for about an year and I feel that this product is really good.I highly recommend it to all as it is suitable for all skin types(have friends with normal,dry skin and they like using this product).

Will I re-purchase?
Yes.The product is very effective.Works fine.I trust Neutrogena.
