Review : The Body Shop's British Rose Instant Glow Body Butter

Body care is very important and what better can be than using a good body butter which has rose - extracts!Sounds interesting...yeah!Today, I am going to share my thoughts on the The Body Shop's British Rose Instant Glow Body Butter.

Let's get started!

Product Description:

Indulge in dewy hydration with our first Body Butter with glow enhancing rose essence. Beautifully pearlescent, this velvety-soft moisturiser is light to the touch but rich on moisture. Non-sticky and perfect for normal to dry skin, it transforms instantly on skin to give you an instant all-over healthy looking.

How To Use?
Massage into skin daily and allow to sink in before dressing. It works especially well after a shower with our British Rose Shower Gel.

My Experience:

Packaging:
The product comes in a plastic-tub packaging.The packaging is really very attractive.Tub is of pink colour and the plastic lid is of black colour with matte-finish. All the details like quantity,shelf-life,ingredients are mentioned on the packaging.Tub-packaging is sleek, firm and very much travel-friendly.The twist-open lid gets closed tightly enough to avoid product-spillage.Overall,nice packaging...I must say...thumbs up.

                                         

Formula & Texture:
Firstly,as soon as we open the black-lid we can smell the rosy-scent which is very calming.The pale pink coloured body butter has a silky smooth texture.The body butter is of white colour with pink hues to be precise.The product has a whipped cream like consistency which is not thin or runny.It's not thick at all and is just the way I like.The body butter has awesome ingredients like Glycerin ,Soybean oil,shea butter and rose extracts.Glycerin and shea butter are meant to keep the skin healthy and glowy. Soybean oil helps in protecting from the harmful UV rays.It helps in calming the skin that was damaged due to sun rays.Soybean oil is very beneficial in the treatment of skin damages which are occurred due to air pollution as well.How cool is that!!!Really nice.Rose extracts have been used in appropriate amount,just the perfect amount that's not over powering and artificial.In fact it's very real,feels like we are somewhere near a rose-garden!I basically purchased this body butter because of it's rose-fragrance.But, I'm loving the product as well.

Effective / Worth?

• Scoop out the product and apply on the skin ,rub in circular motion.It gets absorbed into the skin very quickly and seamlessly.
• Very lightweight body butter
• Not at all greasy.I would say less is more.Do not apply a lot on your skin.Scoop out less product at a time and apply.Scoop again only if required or you feel like.If we apply a lot of product,it tends to get oily/greasy.As the time passes the greasiness goes away though.
• The body butter doesn't leave any sort of cast on the skin (after application)
• Leaves the skin feeling really silky soft and supple.Using this product regularly definitely gave good results.
• We only need to apply the body butter once and never felt the need to re-apply throughout the day...ever again
• The rose-scent of the body butter is very nice and lingers for a long time on the skin.Love it.
• Can be used anytime , any season , be it summer or winter.

Cons:

• Tub packaging allows easy product contamination.Always use a spatula to scoop out the cream from the tub.
• No SPF mentioned as such
• Not budget-friendly,but,it's The Body Shop.We are paying to get a good quality product...aren't we?

Overall,I really enjoy using this body butter.The rose-fragrance is very soothing and refreshing.The texture is smooth and product gets absorbed into the skin quickly.Makes skin feel soft and healthy.Takes care of the skin and cures skin-dryness very well.I highly recommend this body butter to people with normal to dry skin.I am very sure that you will love it too and enjoy it thoroughly.No wonder this is my current favourite body butter.Also,do check out all the products in the British Rose collection.The body scrub,shower gel, body mist are etc. fantastic and worth trying.

Haul : Bath & Body Works Body-Care Essentials Paris Amour Range

Hi All,

Hope you all are doing good!

Today I am going to share my Bath & Body Works haul.I had recently visited the Bath & Body Works store and I must say as usual all the products in the store looked very beautiful and amazing.

The products from the Sweet Pea and Pink Chiffon ranges from the Bath & Body Works are my all time favorites.

I had used the body mist from the Paris amour range earlier as well.But,this time I thought of checking out some other products as well from the Paris Amour range. :)

So,let's starts with the haul...shall we?

This is the first product that I picked.The beautiful fuschia-pink theme caught my attention instantly.

The shower gel is nice and smells amazing.It contains shea-butter & Vitamin-E.These ingredients are famous for keeping the skin hydrated and smooth.

The shower-gel is cool and lathers-up easily and cleanses the skin nicely. Did'nt experience any dryness.The bottle is very cute and travel-friendly!

The next product is a body-lotion from the Paris Amour range.

This body-lotion is amazingly creamy & smooth in texture.It has a running-consistency and gets absorbed into the skin quickly leaving the skin soft!I love the fragrance of the body lotion and it has a very floral-fragrance(tulips).

Also,as mentioned on the bottle the product contains shea-butter,Vitamin E & Vitamin B5 which are really good for the skin.The body-lotion is not greasy...truely!...love

Oh My God! I'm in love with this body mist.The body-mist works effectively when we use it in combination with the shower-gel and the body-lotion.The body-mist has a very pleasant(floral) fragrance that soothes the senses and the longevity of the body mist is about 4hrs when used on its own.

Fourth product is a hand-soap from the Paris Amour range!

A hand-wash is used everyday and a daily-necessity and I wanted to try this perfumed hand-wash.

I am yet to try this one out.Gotta check if it keeps dirt at bay.

Shall keep you posted.But,nonetheless it smells awesome had checked out the tester.

Last but not the least is a beautiful single-wick scented-candle from the range.It's from the  Signature Collection.The packaging looks lovely and feminine...beautiful!

Product Details:

• Burns between 20-30 hours
• Exclusive blend of vegetable-wax
• Lead-free wick!

I sniffed this scented-candle and felt really amazed.It also, has the same fragrance just like all the products from this range...seriously awesome.Expecting rosy aromatic-effect once used...let's see.Will keep you posted.

Update : It's an okish product.You might choose to skip it!

The packaging of these products is travel-friendly which is a very important factor when you are planning to carry them along anywhere.

Overall,I am liking the Paris Amour range from the Bath & Body Works.

My Experience:

Packaging:

• The product comes in a round-tub that has white-chocolate brown themed cap
• There are two sizes available :50 ml and 150 ml,which is really cool.
• The one that I have got is 50 ml one 
• I must say the packaging is very travel-friendly and not bulky at all
• Product-details are mentioned on the back side of the tub
• Ingredients aren't mentioned anywhere(in English) as such

                                   

Formula & Texture:

• The moisturizing-body-cream is of off-white-colour and really light-weight   

                                       

• Non-greasy...awesome(y)
• The product-consistency is thick still creamy
• It gets absorbed into the skin easily
• Key ingredient : cocoa keeps the skin soft,moisturized
• Fragrance:I love love love the fragrance of this body cream it has a very pleasant cocoa-vanilla kind of fragrance...yummy :)

Effective?
Yes

• Product is good for all skin types...(y)
• People with dry-skin should definitely give this product a try
• The effect of this body-cream remained throughout the day
• This body cream can be used in summers without any hassles as the product isn't greasy at all...amazing!

Con:
Nothing!


Overall,I really like this body cream and it takes good care of my dry skin

Will I re-purchase?

Yes,plus,the product is very affordable and easily available everywhere in UAE

Highly recommend this product!


Note:Spatula/spoon needs to be used for scooping out the product as the product comes in a tub-packaging. For hygiene-purposes !!!:)
