Hair Care : Is it important?

Hi Fam!

Hope you are doing fine.

Today,I thought of sharing my opinion on the most requested topic of all times...is hair care important? If yes,then how to take care of it?

                                       

Who doesn't like having long, healthy,shiny and beautiful hair?

Today, we'll focus on the various reasons why actually hair-care is important.

So,let's get started!

Taking good-care of your health is important and it is equally important to take care of how you look overall.How you look should matter to you at least and not necessarily to others.

1. Hair plays an important part in reflecting your personality.
2. Well maintained hair speaks out volume.
3. I mean why not? It is the need of the hour.
4. Slight hair-styling can change the way you look, for that you need healthy hair.

Why Hair-fall occurs when we move out from India to UAE/Gulf countries?

This can happen because of so many reasons.

Few reasons are as follows:

1. May be change in water has triggered hair-fall
2. Due to low hemoglobin or high iron deficiency
3. Not following a healthy diet
4. High stress-level
5. External factors such as dust and sand blocking the roots
6. Oily scalp and so on

How to tackle these factors?

1. Visiting a doctor might help in identifying the actual root cause one of them might be due to hereditary
2. Eat well,follow a good diet-plan which should be rich in iron,proteins etc.
3. Massage your scalp coconut-oil twice a week
4. Use hair-masks such as curd and egg twice a week.This will help in keeping your roots nourished and scalp will stay clean
5. Gently rub Diluted aloe-vera gel on scalp
6. Shampoo your hair once or twice a week
7. Use Paraben free hair-care products
8. May be taking multi-vitamins help(please refer a doctor and only then take any external multi-vitamins)
9. Use a cotton scarf while your are out and about,this will help your hair breath and hair will not really come in direct contact with the dust & sand
10. Do not scratch your scalp a lot (if it itches).It itches because your scalp is dirty.Try to wash your hair whenever possible and keep it clean.
11. Stop thinking (read : overthinking) about your life-problems as it will definitely trigger stress and today,it will cause hair-fall which can certainly turn into a permanent hair-loss and cause many other health-issues.
12. Last but not the least, drink plenty of water and eat well,exercise regularly.DO NOT LEAVE HOPE. :)

My Experience :

Packaging:

The product comes in a cream-coloured plastic tube.The tube has got a flip open cap.It's very tight and secures the product well.We need to squeeze the tube to take out the product.The nozzle is of appropriate size and enough product comes out at a time.All the details like ingredients,shelf-life,quantity etc are mentioned on the packaging.The tube is really compact and not heavy at all.Very sturdy and travel friendly packaging.Experienced no product-spillage in the handbag while travelling.Decent packaging.

Formula & Texture:

Formula : Ingredients like glycerin , shea butter , olive oil, pineapple juice, lemon juice, grapefruit juice , coconut fruit extract have been used. 

These ingredients are well-known to deal with skin-issues and make it feel more rejuvenated. 

• Shea butter and coconut extract keeps the skin moisturized.
• Vitamin E present in olive oil is an antioxidant that protects the skin against sun damage and other environmental stresses. 
• In general,Lemon juice helps in killing the bacteria etc.
• In general,Grapefruit is high in antioxidants which fight the free radicals that cause wrinkles, and dull complexion. The salicylic acid present in the grapefruit juice works magically on the elbows, knees and rough patches.                     

Texture: The off white coloured foot cream has a very creamy texture, The consistency is not that thin or runny, it's well balanced.Get's absorbed into the skin meticulously. Non sticky product.

Fragrance:

If you have smelled shea butter ever, you will recognize the fragrance of the foot cream.It's mild and smells kind of vanilla-like...it's pleasant , nothing bothersome.The fragrance goes away as the time passes.Very quickly.

Effective?

Yes.

• The foot cream has a creamy texture which is amazing.Soft to touch.No granules or harsh particles are present.Plain cream.
• Nice ingredients.The combo of the ingredients like glycerin , shea butter ,coconut extract etc is amazing. It works on the skin pretty well.
• Very lightweight formula. Doesn't feel greasy at all.
• It gets absorbed into the skin quite well
• Very comfortable.After applying the cream on the feet, the skin feels better.
• Regular usage of this product helped in reducing the skin-dryness
• Also, flakiness of the skin was tackled well by this cream
• As the time passed, skin felt moisturized, soft and supple.
• Won't say that we will get fairy-like feet in just one day of usage.Keep using this product on a regular-basis to feel the effect.A month or so, it totally depends on the severity of the damaged skin.
• For best results, wash your feet at night and apply the foot cream generously.Wear socks and sleep tight.Doing this will help in reducing the dryness and will heal the rough skin.

Con:

• Not Paraben free.
• Contains dimethicone and alcohol
• A bit pricey for the quantity being offered.One tube lasted for a month.But,yes the product-quality is great!

Will I re-purchase?

Yes.

Overall,I would like to say that this foot cream is really nice.You should check out and try this product if you are suffering from dry & rough feet.Must try out once.Highly recommend.

My Experience:

Packaging:
The packaging is awesome.I love it.It's so cute.The product comes in a tub-packaging.The tub is made up of plastic and has mustard yellow coloured body and a yellow-red coloured cap.All the details like ingredients,quantity,shelf-life are mentioned on the packaging.
The animal-in a pot designed tub packaging is very compact and sturdy plus travel-friendly.Very easy to keep in the bag and carry.

 Formula & Texture:

• The white colored product has a gel-like consistency
• Very smooth texture and light-weight
• Suitable for summer-season
• Need to rub the product very well.Gets absorbed into the skin easily
• Contains glycerin that keeps the hands moisturized
• Not greasy
• Makes the skin feel soft and smooth
• Suitable for daily-use
• Suitable for normal to dry skin
• People with very dry skin shall skip this product as it has a medium moisturizing effect only(just a suggestion/my opinion)

Fragrance:
The hand cream smells of that of fresh fruits.Like mangoes and peaches to be precise.Very nice fragrance.It's strong and stays for a really long time.

Cons:

• Tub-packaging allows product-contamination easily.Use a spatula to scoop out the product.
• Quantity is less for the price being payed,but, I love the packaging and the product itself,so I am ok with it.
• Contains : Dimethicone,Alcohol

Will I re-purchase?
Yes

Overall, I like the mini pet fruits hand cream variant of the Lovely Me:Ex hand creams.I recommend it to people who have normal to dry skin.Also,there are other variants available namely floral,baby and sweet.Do check out.I have tried already the baby and sweet hand cream-variants,but,I loved the fruits variant a lot.

Haul : Bath & Body Works Body-Care Essentials Paris Amour Range

Hi All,

Hope you all are doing good!

Today I am going to share my Bath & Body Works haul.I had recently visited the Bath & Body Works store and I must say as usual all the products in the store looked very beautiful and amazing.

The products from the Sweet Pea and Pink Chiffon ranges from the Bath & Body Works are my all time favorites.

I had used the body mist from the Paris amour range earlier as well.But,this time I thought of checking out some other products as well from the Paris Amour range. :)

So,let's starts with the haul...shall we?

This is the first product that I picked.The beautiful fuschia-pink theme caught my attention instantly.

The shower gel is nice and smells amazing.It contains shea-butter & Vitamin-E.These ingredients are famous for keeping the skin hydrated and smooth.

The shower-gel is cool and lathers-up easily and cleanses the skin nicely. Did'nt experience any dryness.The bottle is very cute and travel-friendly!

The next product is a body-lotion from the Paris Amour range.

This body-lotion is amazingly creamy & smooth in texture.It has a running-consistency and gets absorbed into the skin quickly leaving the skin soft!I love the fragrance of the body lotion and it has a very floral-fragrance(tulips).

Also,as mentioned on the bottle the product contains shea-butter,Vitamin E & Vitamin B5 which are really good for the skin.The body-lotion is not greasy...truely!...love

Oh My God! I'm in love with this body mist.The body-mist works effectively when we use it in combination with the shower-gel and the body-lotion.The body-mist has a very pleasant(floral) fragrance that soothes the senses and the longevity of the body mist is about 4hrs when used on its own.

Fourth product is a hand-soap from the Paris Amour range!

A hand-wash is used everyday and a daily-necessity and I wanted to try this perfumed hand-wash.

I am yet to try this one out.Gotta check if it keeps dirt at bay.

Shall keep you posted.But,nonetheless it smells awesome had checked out the tester.

Last but not the least is a beautiful single-wick scented-candle from the range.It's from the  Signature Collection.The packaging looks lovely and feminine...beautiful!

Product Details:

• Burns between 20-30 hours
• Exclusive blend of vegetable-wax
• Lead-free wick!

I sniffed this scented-candle and felt really amazed.It also, has the same fragrance just like all the products from this range...seriously awesome.Expecting rosy aromatic-effect once used...let's see.Will keep you posted.

Update : It's an okish product.You might choose to skip it!

The packaging of these products is travel-friendly which is a very important factor when you are planning to carry them along anywhere.

Overall,I am liking the Paris Amour range from the Bath & Body Works.

*The product has a thick consistency

*It has coarse granules.These granules are  a little harsh when used on face.That's why I used on hands only

*The product comes out of the tube easily when squeezed

                                             

Fragrance:
*Very pleasant scent of fresh apricots,I like it.Not at all overwhelming or irritating which is 👍

Application(How I use):

*Moisten your skin before applying the product on your body

*Squeeze-out the product in a small quantity  (coin-size) and scrub gently in circular motions.

*Use a light-hand while scrubbing,doing this will not cause any skin-rashes and still exfoliate the dead skin-cells.


Effective:
Yes,it is.
*It works.It removes dead skin-cells and let's the skin breath!
*After scrubbing,the skin feels soft and supple and not dry
*It also helps in removing tan to a great extent
*Suitable for all skin types
*Natural ingredients

Will I repurchase?
Yes! this time I have purchased the biggest size available out there...grin

Tip and suggestion:

*Use this product on hands and feet instead of face.

*After,scrubbing(hands/feet) don't forget to moisturize generously!

Today I am going to review nourishing hand cream from the sweet pea collection by Bath & Body Works.

Bath and body works is an amazing body and skin care brand.They have body mists,lotions,shower gels, sanitizers you name it...they have it all!sigh!

The products from this brand are usually amazing and have awesome fragrances!

Sweet pea range is my favourite range of all times from the Bath & Body Works.
So,I thought of giving this hand-cream a try.
Let's find out together what were the results of using this hand-cream!

Moisturizing Shea Butter and Vitamin E absorbs quickly to leave hands feeling soft, smooth, luxuriously nourished and lightly scented.

Lightly scented with an optimistic blend of juicy raspberries and pear kissed by soft pink petals

My experience:

I like using hand-creams in order to keep my hands soft and supple.A hand-cream with a good fragrance is a plus point.

Packaging:
*It comes in a tube-form.No chance of product-contamination! 

*I love the tube-colour,it's a mixture of pink, orange and green colours...love!

*The ingredients,shelf-life and quantity etc are mentioned on the tube which is great

*Travel-friendly packaging.

Formula & Texture:

*It is a thick cream, but, definitely not sticky.

*Gets absorbed easily and quickly into the skin and leaves the skin feeling soft and fresh.

*A small coin-sized amount of the product does it's job well.

Fragrance:
*In one word "COOL"! This is really a nice hand-cream.
I am in love it's awesome fragrance.

*It has a sweet,flowery(raspberry-rosy) kindda fragrance that is very calming.

Effective ingredients:
The hand-cream contains shea butter and vitamin E.These ingredients help in keeping hands soft and moisturized.

Application:
Applying twice or thrice a day will be really helpful for people with really dry hands.


If you are someone who is looking for a moisturizing hand cream and loves sweet, flowery-scent(raspberry-rosy) in their body care products...then you gotta try this one for sure!

No doubt this hand-cream has become my current favourite hand cream and I have been using it non-stop👌

Overall I like this hand-cream alot and highly recommend this one as it's affordable and effective as well!😍

No SPF mentioned

Will I repurchase?
Yes,Definitely!

Tip:
For best results,apply on slightly moist hands.The fragrance will linger forever and hands will feel soft and smooth throughout the day.
