Top Five Red Lipsticks Feb 2019 : Glamnglaze

Today,I am going to share my top Five red lipsticks:

1.NYX Cosmetics Liquid Suede Lipstick in the shade Kitten Heels

You won't even believe how much I have used this lipstick,I have been using this one for a really long time...trust me.It's definitely my go-to lipstick.
Shade : Red with slight pink hues
Finish : Demi-matte lipstick.
Longevity : Lasts upto 8 hours if we don't eat anything oily or greasy
As the time passes,this lipstick stays put and doesn't cause any discomfort
Dries out lips? No

2.The Balm Cosmetics Meet Matte Hughes in the shade Loyal

Shade : This is a plain true red colour with slight blue tones
Finish : Dries down super quickly ,matte finish.
Longevity : One of the best lipsticks in market.Love love love the formula as it is matte still very comfortable.Lasts upto 7-8 hours without wearing off ,stays put throughout the day.
Dries out Lips? Yes,as the tome passes,it slightly dries out the lips.Enhances lip-lines to a great extent.

3.MAC's Retro Matte Liquid Lipstick in the shade Dance with me.

Shade : Blue toned-red
Finish : Powder-matte
Longevity : Lasts for about 5-6  hours.Eating oily food causes the product to get transferred onto anything and everything.Suitable for all skin -tones.
Dries out lips ? Yes,to some extent
Rating : 4/5

                                   

4.GOSH Lipstick:

Shade : Bright Red lipstick with heavy pink tones,suitable for all skin-tones
Finish : Satin finish,Transfers everywhere.Not transfer proof
Longevity: Lasts for a 3-4 hrs and it stains the lips,Keeps lips really moisturized.
Dries out lips ? No chance

5.Colourpop Lipstick in the shade Trust Me:

Shade : Bright Red lipstick with slight pinkish-blue tones,suitable for all skin-tones
Finish : Matte finish,Transfers a little.Not transfer proof
Longevity: Lasts upto 3 hrs.
Dries out lips ? A little
Rating : 3.5/5

Note : These lipsticks are really very pigmented!!!

Tip : Definitely,apply a generous amount of lip-balm and wipe off before applying any matte lipstick.
Turn a satin-finish lipstick into matte-finish by applying compact powder onto the lips or blot-out the excess lip-product by pressing the lips on a tissue paper.

How are you doing? Today I'm gonna share my thoughts on Huda Beauty's Contour and Strobe Lip kit.It's been about an year that I've been using this set.Yes,I know it's really late,Better late than never! right! Here we go...

What it is:
Inspired by Huda’s trademark pout, the Strobe & Contour Lip Sets are packaged in a covetable lip-shaped tin, making it the perfect gift for lipstick lovers. Carefully curated by Huda herself, each set features a full-size Lip Contour, a Mini Liquid Matte Lipstick in a complementary shade, plus a mini Lip Strobe. 


Shade description:
Trophy Wife & Shameless – Perfect a sophisticated, feminine look with the plummy rose-toned shades of Trophy Wife combined with the rich pink and copper duo-chrome pigments of Shameless.


How to use:
Gorgeous when used individually or together, these sets are also perfect for creating an ombré effect for the illusion of fuller lips. Simply line your lips with the Lip Contour, then fill them in with the Liquid Matte shade before applying the high-shine Lip Strobe for a plumping effect. 

Contour, set, action:
1. Create flawless shape and volume by lining lips with the Lip Contour, fading towards the centre.
2. Apply the Liquid Matte shade all over. Then, wait 30 seconds, before layering these shades with the Lip Strobe, to create a sculpted, voluminous pout that’s visible from every angle.

My opinion:

Price : AED 142

Packaging:
Look at that gorgeous packaging! It's so attractive.I really like that lip-tin.It looks amazing.

The lip contour pencil comes in a standard size.Shade name is mentioned on the pencil.

The very famous liquid matte lipstick comes in a frosted tube.Shade is written at the bottom of the tube.Shade can be seen through the tube clearly.

The tube containing the lip-strobe looks fantastic as it looks very classy.When those pinky-rosy particles reflect and shine then the lips look fabulous.
                              

                                       

Formula:

Lip Contour pencil:

• Creamy formula
• Soft to touch and glides on smoothly on the lips
• Doesn't skip and we don't need to work too hard to use this pencil                                       

Liquid matte lipstick.

• Vert pigmented,One swipe is enough to cover up the pigmented lips
• Very comfortable
• Glides on smoothly
• Not powder-finish
• After applying,it turns into a matte after some time.It has a demi-matte finish to be honest
• Doesn't enhance lip-lines much           

Lip Strobe i.e.Metallic Lip Glosss in the shade Shameless

• Little tacky to touch
• Not too runny not too thick.I like the consistency.Very smooth.
• Beautiful shade with gold particles
• Not gritty or coarse
• Very comfortable and shiny

                                

Shade
Trophy Wife lip contour pencil is a Dark pink shade with heavy blue tone.

Trophy wife is a rosewood pink lipstick.Not too loud and bright.Very much wearable and can be used on a daily basis.

Shameless is a pretty and attractive lip topper.This one is a great product and works well with other lipsticks very well.

How I like to use this set
I outline my lips using the Trophy wife lip contour and then apply the Liquid matte lipstick.I like to layer this liquid lipstick,two layers at max.I apply the lip strobe on the center of my lips to achieve that gorgeous and luscious lip-effect.
On a daily basis,I like using the Liquid Matte lipstick as it is.

Yet to try the ombre lips using this lip-kit though.

Final word : It's a great lip-kit.High-end product.Nice Quality.

-0.5 as I don't really like sharpening lip pencils...yeah lazy girl and sharpening such pencils(product embedded in a plastic tube) causes lots of loss of product
-0.5 as the matte lipstick is not transfer-proof as such i.e. not long lasting if you eat something oily else it stays for long)

Huge Haul : Bath & Body Works Bodycare Products Feb 2019

Today, I am gonna share my Bath and Body Works haul with you.

I visited Bath and Body Works recently as I wanted to stock-up up my favourite products.

Lets's see what all I've got!Here we go...

Apart from the Paris Amour and Japanese Cherry Blossom collections,Sweet Pea is one of my fav ranges from the Bath & Body Works.I picked quite a few products from this collection.

Sweet pea body scrub AED 85  Sweet-pea-foaming-sugar-scrub

It's a sugar-based scrub. Particles are coarse in nature.Once it comes in contact with water it melts down easily.Easy to work with and use.Leaves skin feeling nourished post usage.
                             

Sweet pea body cream AED 85 Sweet-pea-ultra-shea-body-creamLet me say...it's one of the creams available in the market.Very soft and smooth to touch and glides on really nicely.Keeps the skin moisturized and happy.

Sweet pea hand cream  AED 30 Bath-Body-Works-Nourishing-CreamIt is a thick cream, but, definitely not sticky
Gets absorbed easily and quickly into the skin and leaves the skin feeling soft and fresh.
A small coin-sized amount of the product does it's job well.

Sweet pea body mist (travel-size)  AED 39 Sweet-pea-travel-size-fine-fragrance-mistIt has got a floral-fruity sweet smell.Lingers for really long on the skin,
Key notes: Sweet Pea, Watery Pear, Sheer Freesia, Luscious Raspberry, Soft Musk 

                                              

Sweet pea hand soap
Heavily perfumed hand wash.Cleanses well.No dryness.Just cannot get enough of this collection on the whole as you can see already.The entire collection in amazing.Especially the body cream and hand cream,these products smell amazing and keep the skin moisturized...yay!
                                    

• Two hand sanitizers with a watermelon - shaped holder

Pink Petals & Peach Sparkles.Name says it all.Great fragrance and not too overwhelming.
I love mini-sized products.These sanitizers were too cute to pass.I thought to give these cute-lil-products a try.These are very travel friendly and can be used efficiently on the go.

                               

Also,I purchased a watermelon shaped sanitizer-holder so that I can fit-in the product and carry along whenever and wherever I want to.Worth trying I must say!

                               

                               
Japanese Cherry Blossom body cream and body mist AED 32 and AED 39 respectively

This range is another favourite of mine.The body cream smells incredible when topped-up with the body mist.I cannot explain how surreal this combo feels.You must try it.I purchased the mini travel-sized ones this time.
                        

Sweet Pea Candle! Sweet-pea-1-wick-candle

Once burnt,it make the entire room smell fruity and sweet.Very calming and soothing to the senses.

Paris amour scented candle!

Yet again! this one is amazing as well. I love Paris Amour collection to bits,it's pinky-rosy packaging definitely attracts me...like always!
